Newfoundland's East Coast Trail

When you get here, you will probably want to do some hiking.  We have long hard hikes and some really short and easy ones. They all have the fabulous scenery in common.  We are blessed in Pouch Cove to be able to walk out the door, go left or right and in minutes be hiking on a trail with some of the best scenery in the world.

The East Coast Trail includes 540 km along the shores of the Avalon Peninsula of which 220 km are developed with trail signage, maps and supporting trail information. The East Coast Trail is being developed and maintained by the East Coast Trail Association. The Association is a member driven, volunteer based, registered charity formed in 1994 with the mission to develop, maintain and operate the East Coast Trail.   The ECTA operates regular group hikes along the trail.
